Mohandes

In the new board of Mohandes, I will continue with the secratary position but also hold the head of science and technology sub-committee, I think it's important to help bring young generation with new research into Mohandes. The result is positive for both the speaker, who will be talking about their master or Ph.D thesis, and the audiance who might be interested in implimenting the ideas in the future. For the first time, I felt abit isolated in the new board, since the # of ladies in the group in total is 2 out of 10. I think this would be a great opportunity for me to practice many things this year. From being a mediator, to how to approach speakers for the events. My goal this year is to innitiate more ideas and try to promote it with the help of the rest of the board. Aside from the community work, I am going to talk to manager for vacation time! I hope I can squeez 4 weeks! I am also excited for the long weekend. Hope the weather be great.

Excited!!

So I finally got the dress. It is perfect. It's the combination of everything I like!!But took us two weeks to find it and I had to not go to work yesterday to spend the whole day looking and finally buying it with my vail and my tiara! Now it's shoe shopping time, so they can alter the bottom of the dress for me. I can't beilieve I finally did it! Last night was Lina's good bye dinner at the famous milestones that we love! she is moving to Montreal for a while for a fantastic job she got there. I will miss her for sure but I am happier that she is excelling in her field. Christin is starting a new positionat Shell too!It seems everyone is moving one step higher. I hope that I get the job that I want too! We all were excited for Muna's and Marjia's wedding. This saturday, Muna's wedding is going to be fantastic! My official IAUT term is over and I can breathe that at least one of my responsibilites are off my shoulder. The only thing I will be focousing this year is Mohandes, which is my last year from my social work, and career developement strategies with my sweetie on my side.
